The Metro Atlanta area offers an extensive array of outdoor movie and concert nights that are not only fun, but also inexpensive (many are FREE)! Most of the events we listed below are catered towards families, but there are also a few that would be perfect for a date-night or evening out with friends.

Home by Dark at Brooke Street Park: The beloved Alpharetta concert series returns this summer, taking place at 7:30 pm on the second Saturday of the month (July 13, Aug 10, and Sept 14).

Movies on the Town (Town Brookhaven): Every Thursday through July 25th (no movie July 4th).

Chamblee Summer Concert Series: The city of Chamblee’s Concert Series will take place on July 4th and August 9th.
Dunwoody
Groovin on the Green(Brookrun Park): Groovin’ on the Green is a free series held at the Brook Run Park amphitheater. All concerts begin at 6pm, are family friendly, and include food and drink concessions. July 13th, Aug 10th, September 14th and October 12th
Pics in the Park(Pershnal Park): Enjoy the free showing, free popcorn & candy, and giveaways under the stars. Popcorn cart opens 30 minutes prior to show time and will be available until halfway through the movie. July 5: Kung Fu Panda & August 2: Madame Web (PG 13)

Fridays -N- Duluth: Head to Downtown Duluth every Friday through July 26th for food trucks, live music and family-friendly entertainment. Enjoy themed nights every 2nd Friday of the month and Flicks on Bricks movie nights every 4th Friday of the month.
Summer Concert Series Thrasher Park: Enjoy the “sweet sounds of summer” in downtown Norcross and get ready for some serious fun at the Summer Concert Series, which runs in Thrasher Park from 7:30 – 9:30 p.m. June 21st, July 5th, July 19th, August 2nd, August 16th, and August 30th.
Johns Creek/Peachtree Corners
Flicks on the Green (Town Center): Mark your calendar for the first Saturday of each month May through October. Movies will begin at 7 pm; bring a blanket and stretch out on the lawn and experience movies under the stars. July 6: Indiana Jones Raiders of the Lost Ark, August 3: Lilo & Stitch, September 7: Secret Life of Pets,
Night Music (Town Center): Listen to up-and-coming local bands the second Saturday of the month now through October.
Summer Concert Series (Town Center): Enjoy live music from bands all over the country the last Saturday of the month, now through October.
Movies at Newtown Park: Movies at the Park is a free summer outdoor series of family-friendly movies presented on a huge inflatable screen. Starts at 7pm.

Newtown Park’s Summer Concert Series: Doors open at 6 p.m. to allow for the public to set up chairs/blankets. Music begins at 7 p.m.
