Want to get your kids out of the house this winter without breaking your new 2024 budget? We've rounded up a list of free, in-store workshops and activities perfect for kids of all ages.
And, if you would like your kids to take art classes regularly, we have also included information on a few paid workshops available around the city.
Lowes: Designed to inspire the next generation of builders, select Lowes locations offer monthly in-store DIY Kids’ Workshops. Find out when and where the next DIY Kids’ class will be held here.
Home Depot: Home Depot hosts children’s workshops on the first Saturday of each month from 9 am – 12 pm. Registration and a detailed description of the upcoming month’s craft can be found on the main Home Depot’s workshop website.
Lakeshore Learning: The Lakeshore Learning Store in East Cobb offers free crafts from 11 am – 3 pm one Saturday each month. Learn more about their upcoming projects here.
Little Shop of Stories: A visit to this Decatur book store is entertainment in itself! Not only do they have an excellent selection of children’s books, they also hold story and circle times throughout the week.
