Lowes: Designed to inspire the next generation of builders, select Lowes locations offer monthly in-store DIY Kids’ Workshops. Find out when and where the next DIY Kids’ class will be held here.

Home Depot: Home Depot hosts children’s workshops on the first Saturday of each month from 9 am – 12 pm. Registration and a detailed description of the upcoming month’s craft can be found on the main Home Depot’s workshop website.

Lakeshore Learning: The Lakeshore Learning Store in East Cobb offers free crafts from 11 am – 3 pm one Saturday each month. Learn more about their upcoming projects here. 

Little Shop of Stories: A visit to this Decatur book store is entertainment in itself! Not only do they have an excellent selection of children’s books, they also hold story and circle times throughout the week.

Dunwoody Nature Center: The Dunwoody Nature Center offers “Free First Saturdays” once a month where you can embark on a guided nature hike and then get creative with arts and crafts, all while surrounded by the serene beauty of the forest.

Treehouse Kid & Craft: This adorable Decatur toy store offers free storytimes on Tuesdays and free creative playtime on Thursdays. They also offer countless craft classes throughout the week which require memberships.
