January 2025: Metro Atlanta Market Report
The 2025 real estate market is starting off with a bang as most experts predicted throughout 2024. In spite of the almost 7% interest rates, our phones have been ringing off the hook with both buyers and sellers thinking this is the year to make a move. That said, the wintery weather seems to have throttled new listings as we continue to see low inventory especially in popular communities. However, as we quickly approach the timeline when selling can align with the end of school, we expect listings to once again rise. While we predict a strong seller’s market, we do foresee the spring season to be more balanced like we had started to see towards the end of 2024. And, truly a balanced market is a healthy market!
